Summit County Outreach Team
Summit County Outreach Team (SCOUT)
The SCOUT Program is a pilot program in partnership with the City of Akron and the Summit County ADM Board. The SCOUT team is a clinician from Portage Path Behavioral Health, and a Akron City Fire/EMS person who are dispatched by 911 responding to calls in Akron where mental health is a concern, but the individual is not a danger to themself or others.
This team is on-call Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
